We have developed a new low-cost datalogger for accurately measuring in-situ microclimate air temperatures using ultrafine wire thermocouples. Higher quality microclimate data allows scientists to better understand the impacts of climate change on life on earth. The pocket-sized units are designed for outdoor deployment and operating for many months off a single AA battery.
